Life goes on........Wedding Over! Baby Blessing next!

Wedding is over! The luncheon was great! The Reception had a rough start. but, it turned out wonderful! Thanks to all those who helped set up and get us where we needed to be. The clouds came and the sky looked scary but, the weather was really nice. It rained to the south of us and to the north of us and went all around us! We had a few sprinkles at one time. but, nothing that kept us from staying outside. It all waited to come down after the wedding was over. I am happy that the kids had their wedding and everything turned out. Thanks for all your support! We are happy to have it all over and moving on to the next event and projects.

Fathers day is over and it was a really nice day! Hope you all had a Happy Fathers day!

This week we are working on getting things ready for the baby blessing on Sunday the 28th for Cru Carpenter Cope! Our church starts at 9:30 am and we will be having the Luncheon afterwards in the Party Barn. Family and Friends are invited. If you would like to bring something for the Luncheon it would be welcomed and appreciated!

Thank You again for everything!

The Baby has arrived!!!!

Yes! Cru Carpenter Cope has finally arrived! Shalese and Casey are loving this new and crazy adventure of being new parents.
I never get tired of holding and loving any of my grandchildren! He is so tiny and such a good baby! The one thing that he does that is funny is he squeaks sometimes when you pick him up.
He has a head of hair that looks like it needs to be cut.
I am so grateful that Shalese was able to come through this experience safely and that Cru is healthy and strong. After 8 weeks of bed rest and a bad case of Toxemia and retaining so much water She was grateful that they were finally going to do something about it. The delivery was not a good experience! Shalese ended up having to be started, then having her water broke she had to have the epidural done 3 times ending up with only half of her body numb finally the 4th time it worked. She had monitors inside her and on the outside and then ending up having a C-section after Cru's heart started to show stress and she wouldn't dilate any more than a 5! He was 7 lbs 7 oz and 21 inches long and will celebrate his birthday on the 12th of May from now on.
The Doctors said that he looked like he was over due about a week to two weeks.
We are grateful that they have the medical knowledge and the skills now to help mothers who need it. and Especially grateful to a loving Father in Heaven who heard this mothers prayers!

May 3rd- Sunday

Sunday! Here again! Can you believe how fast time goes. I don't seem to keep up any more! Before you know it Darron will be getting married! Its just about here! I have so much to do........... I won't even start a list- I know that I won't get through it all! Shalese is down to any day now to have the baby! She has been fighting toxemia for about 6 weeks now. Sometimes she can't even bend her fingers she is so swollen. Flip Flops are all she can get on her feet. I hope the baby will be here soon. Last night I had a dream that she went into labor and didn't even know it. I checked on her and the baby was already on its way here...... I had to deliver it and couldn't find the blue bulb that sucks out the mucus. This better not happen! She had better make it to the hospital! Jerry and Darron are going to lake powel and I told Jerry he had better not go or she will go into labor while they are gone. You watch and that will happen!!!!
We have Darrons friend living with us. Mike- Yesterday Mike and Megan went to the mall to see the drawing on who would win the 50 thousand dollar wedding from Allysa's bridal. Guess what they won!!!! They get to have a 50 thousand dollar wedding for free! Lucky kids!
Life keeps on surprising us... You never know what will happen next. Hopefully they are good things that happen and adventures that mold us into better people and make great memories. Hope your adventures in the near future are good ones. Lynette.

Crazy life we have!

Here is the update....Jerry had his Gall bladder out, Then I had my surgery on my wrist to have a cyst removed and tendens released. as soon as I was recovered enough Linsey had her Gall bladder removed along with her appendix. While all this is going Mom has a car accident! In the Hospital for 2 weeks-broken Leg, broken ribs, bleeding kidney, whiplashed neck, bruises and bruises and more bruises on top of bruises! She will live and I am so grateful that she survived! Then Darrons Fiance's little girl Madison ends up in the hospital the same day as Lindseys surgery with pnemonia! Brandon called Yesterday to tell me he was in the Emergency room with some kind of reaction from his work where his heart slowed down so slow that he wasn't getting enough oxigen and he kept trying to pass out trying to come home from work! No phone on him! He will be ok! Darron had an ultrasound today!.... Maybe his Gall bladder? and the lesson that I was given to teach for Sunday is......Come what may. and Love it! All about adversity and making the best of what happens in our lives. I am doing great! Life is good! Why? because Everyone is alive and doing pretty good considering what could be happening! The sun was shining today! It may rain. but, the grass will be greener and the flowers bigger! right! We have so much to look forward too. Live , learn and be happy!

A Beautiful Day!

Today is Sunday! A storm is coming in. yet, the sun was shining when we left for church. I love the sunshine it fills my heart with warmth. Today is a beautiful day and Mom is being moved into another room. There is a feeling of hope and relief that she is doing well enough to be moved. Her blood level is still low and at 25. I thought for sure that they would have given her a transfusion by now. but, they want to wait until tomorrow. She will still be unable to get up without help and has to wear her braces- one on her right leg and her neck brace all of the time. She feels better each day and hopefully she will be coming home soon.
I feel so grateful to still have her in our life's and thank the Lord for keeping her here with us and on the mend. Even as the morning progressed and the storm came in I felt the peace that comes with knowing that we are love and our life's have purpose. As snow covered the ground and everything became covered with a layer of snow it reminded me of how beautiful our world is and how fast things can change. Tomorrow it will be melted and Spring will unfold as the grass grows greener and flowers begin to bloom. Life is forever changing and as it does my prayer is that we can gain strength and become stronger in our relationships in our love for each other and for all that our Father and Heaven has given us. I know that he loves each one of us individually and that he hears and answers prayers. I am grateful to know that I can depend on his comfort and love as we go through all that we have and will go through in our lives. Trust in him and learn to listen as he leads, guides and lifts us each and everyday. Believe!

DARRON AND LACEY ARE ENGAGED!

more pictures

Darron is engaged!

Saturday morning Darron bought Laceys ring and by the time he was home he was so nervouse that he was shaking. He had all kinds of different ways that he would have liked to ask her.... candle light dinner..... treasure hunt..... Police arrest and then have her handcuffed to him and ask her if she would be his partner for eternity ( but, that might scare maddi and he couldn't have that.) ......easter eggs all over the lawn with clues and thoughts in each one of all the things he loved about her...... but, he was so nervouse we knew that he wouldn't last another hour ! so, we helped him go and decorate up the rental house that they will be living in after they get married. It belongs to Laceys parents and they are working on fixing things up right now it was empty. Darron made arrangements for Laceys mom to bring Madison over when Lacey was off to pick up some needed chips for dinner that really werent needed. but, one way to get her out of the house. Rose petals sprinkled over the floor and candles lit and placed all over the living room and 2 dozen roses in a vase and a cream teddy bear with matching pink ribbon for Madi arranged so that it was romantic. Darron texed Lacey to come over to the rental so that he could show her something and when she opened the door she was shoked and surprised! Darron got down on one knee with Maddi on one side and the ring in the other hand and asked her if she would marry him. and she said..... yes! Moms and Dads with big smiles and tears in eyes. here are some of the pictures taken.... Congratulations to Darron and Lacey and Maddi.

Carley had her birthday!

We went to Carley's 4th birthday party last night. She had a My little Pony party and it was really cute. Cassi always does such a wonderful job and goes all out for the girls. Carley was all smiles and is growing up so fast here are a few of the pictures that she took for her 4th birthday. We love you Carley...Happy birthday!
I don't know why I try and do a Blog when I seem to never find the time to get on and update. Sometimes my life seems so busy that I don't know if I am coming or going.
Since I last posted Jerry has had his Gall bladder out and has recovered wonderfully, I have had surgery on my wrist where they removed a Cyst that is not cancer! Yes! and released some tendons. I found out that I have 6 tendons attached to my thumb...weird! I found out that I can eat left handed even though I still miss my mouth occationally. I can't wait to be able to have my right hand in working order. I have a month to recover from this surgery and it seems like it is going in slow motion. We sure take things for granted until we don't have them.
Lindsey is scheduled to have her Gall bladder out on the 31st of March-and after that she will be having her knee worked on. It must be the year for the Bradford family to support all those working in the Medical field!
Darron has been Layed off of his Job once again and is looking for another one. Shalese is due on the 16th of May. She has been doing well. Starting to look really pregnant and feeling it too. She is starting to have alot of swelling and I hope that she doesn't get toxemia. We will be having a Baby shower for her on the 18th of April. Its a Boy if you didn't already know. That will make 4 girls and 3 boys with this one. We love being Grandparents!
Well, I should get something done today. so, until next time......

My First Post

Look at my Family! Wow, we have grown. I have a wonderful family and the cutest Grandchildren. It is really fun to try and keep up with all of the little things that they come up with and do. I will try and keep up and add a few new things now that Lindsey has shown me how to get into it. Pretty sad that I can't even figure out how to do thing without my kids there to help me! One of these days maybe I'll get smart!
This week I went with Lindsey while she had a hydro-scan done to see if she needs to have her gall bladder out. Jerry just had his done two weeks ago. He is doing great! Now we just have to see what her results are and we will go from there. Thursday on the 26th I am scheduled to have my right wrist operated on. I will be out of commission for 6 weeks. I don't know how I will be looking since I am right handed and can't do my hair with one hand. I should be pretty SCARY!!! I need to get it done so that I will be ready for Shalese and Caseys new baby due to arrive on the 13th of May. I have to be all better so that I can help her out. I guess we shall see! Let you know later!
